Erratum to the paper “Fifty Years of Kurepa’s !n Hypothesis” by Žarko Mijajlović

Abstract

In this short note we prove that the Kurepa (K) function is different from the Smarandache-Kurepa (SK) function, therefore, these functions are not the same, as Mijajlović has unfoundedly accused the prestigious Encyclopedia of Mathematics and this author. This note is an answer to Mijajlović’s paper (Žarko Mijajlović, Fifty years of Kurepa’s !n hypothesis, Bulletin T.CLIV de l’Académie serbe des sciences et des arts – 2021 Classe des Sciences mathématiques et naturelles Sciences mathématiques, No. 46, 169–181 (2021).
