Abstract

This study investigates the implementation and impact of digital library initiatives in government colleges within the Rewa and Shehdol divisions of Madhya Pradesh, India. With the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing demand for accessible educational resources, digital libraries offer a vital platform for enhancing learning and research capabilities among students and faculty. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, incorporating surveys, interviews, and observational studies to assess the current state of digital library facilities, user satisfaction, and the challenges faced in their adoption. Preliminary findings suggest that while digital libraries significantly improve access to information and foster academic collaboration, several barriers persist, including inadequate infrastructure, limited digital literacy among users, and insufficient training programs for staff. The study highlights the need for strategic enhancements to digital library services and recommends policies for effective integration of technology in educational frameworks. Ultimately, this research aims to contribute to the broader discourse on educational innovation and resource accessibility in higher education institutions
