Abstract

This study explores the impact of human resources (HR) technologies on the efficiency and engagement of staff in digital libraries. With the proliferation of digital tools and the increasing reliance on technology to manage HR functions, libraries have adopted various platforms to enhance workforce productivity. This paper examines the types of HR technologies used, their role in improving staff efficiency, and the subsequent effects on employee engagement. Data for this study were gathered from case studies, surveys, and secondary research to assess how HR technologies such as performance management systems, digital communication tools, and e-learning platforms influence digital library staff. Findings reveal that the integration of HR technologies positively correlates with increased staff efficiency and engagement, though challenges such as adaptability and user training must be addressed for optimal results.
